About TopDrama.app and Our Editorial Policy
TopDrama.app is an independent, English-language knowledge base about DramaBox and short drama apps. We publish rankings, reviews, price guides and data pages built from primary sources — app-store listings, company statements, regulatory texts and analyst reports — and we date every figure.
What we do
Short drama apps are new, fast-changing and often confusing to pay for: weekly auto-renewals, coins with unpublished prices, and look-alike apps. Our goal is to give viewers one place with complete, verifiable answers — starting with DramaBox, the top drama app of 2026, and covering 16 apps in our ranking.
How we research
- Primary data first: App Store and Google Play listings (ratings, versions, in-app purchase lists, age ratings, privacy labels), company terms and privacy policies, regulator texts such as NRTA Order No. 16.
- Our own snapshot: we collect store data for every app via the Apple iTunes lookup API and Google Play pages; the current snapshot is dated 26 September 2026.
- Analyst data: Sensor Tower, Omdia, Media Partners Asia, Appfigures, Deloitte — always named with the publication date.
- User reports: used only for experience and complaints, clearly labelled as user-reported.
- Contradictions: when sources disagree (revenue, MAU, age ratings), we show all values and explain the definitions instead of picking the convenient one.
What we don't do
We do not claim hands-on lab tests we did not run, we do not invent prices or statistics, and we do not accept payment for rankings. Scores follow the published methodology.

TopDrama.app is not affiliated with DramaBox, STORYMATRIX PTE. LTD., Dianzhong Technology or any other app we cover. We earn commissions through partner links; see the affiliate disclosure.
Updates and corrections
We refresh store data monthly and update pages when new reports appear; each page shows its "Updated" date. Found an error? Contact us — corrections are applied and dated.
